chugs loses power falls on its face sometimes back fires
1999 Silverado 1500 5.3
Ok guys if I start my truck and go it chugs loses power falls on its face sometimes back fires, but eventually comes out of it. If I start the truck let it run for a bit then drive it works as it should. This happens every time I start the truck don’t matter if I’m in the gas station for a few minutes it acts up. I noticed long periods of sitting like after work Or over night it’s worse. What do u think the problem is? Air filter clean plugs new not long ago, flue pressure problem? Sensor?

First, get a fuel injection system pressure gauge (you can "rent" them from AutoZone, Advance, Carquest, O'Reilly) and see what your fuel pressure is and test the fuel pressure regulator while you have the pressure gauge.
You can find the specifications here - https://charm.li/
If the fuel pressure is in spec, the fuel pressure regulator is working properly, I would add a 20 ounce bottle of Techron Complete to the gas tank immediately before your next fuel fill-up.
Good Luck!

Another thought is if you still have catalytic they could be failing ... there is a product called cataclean specific for cleaning them out a little on the spendy side but in my opinion I install this in a lot of customers cars to buy them time to replace .... it doesn't "fix" it just cleans out the exhaust

I have strong doubts about the so called catalytic "cleaners"
