Default Chunk of metal in transmission pan

I recently purchased a 4l60e transmission for my 2003 Tahoe and when we pulled the transmission fluid pan out the fluid itself looked good.. no metal shavings, no burnt smell etc... but this was in the bottom of the pan on the magnet and I can’t see anything broken externally... any ideas what this is off of?

not sure what its from. can you return the trans? do you want to risk putting it in; to find out something doesn't work or fails shortly after install.

I agree with tech2, don't know what it is, but it can't be good. I'd look for another tranny.
