Default Cluster Issues

I have had a lot of electrical problems with my dash cluster for a few years now. What happens is, at times different lights will come on and stay on. For example it will show that my bright lights are on, cruise control is on and four-wheel-drive is active even when the vehicle is off and the key is out. And to top it off, I don’t even have four-wheel-drive on the truck, go figure. Unfortunately, these lights have been staying on at night, which is killing the battery. I was thinking about sending in the cluster to get rebuilt, but not sure if that would solve the problem. I really don’t know where else to start or what to do with this, not very good with electrical issues. Any help would be great, thank you.

Is the panel bad? I had mine replaced. It's been a common issue on these trucks.

This could be a symptom of a failing ignition switch (not to be confused with key tumbler) or a failing IGN relay (but I'm making an assumption without knowing what year truck you have).
