Default 05 Suburban, Cluster or BCM?

Hello, folks,
I am a newbie, this is the first posting.
I am just a mechanical and electrical outsider.

I just bought 05 Suburban LS 4wd and got the cluster problems with all the gauges working just got lights issues.
I already read almost all the postings regarding the issues.

So, the cluster issues are;
1)The gear shift indicator was dim.
2) Also, the check engine light doesn't come on when key on before start,
3) 4wd light doesn't work even when 4wd engaged,
4) chime and front door speakers on and off simultaneously

Actually, I had an "eBay guy" fix it and he rebuilt it perfectly as he said.
I got the cluster back and saw the indicator light perfect.

Still, the check engine and 4wd lights don't work, for which I asked the repair guy and was told to do "BCM reprogramming".

Today, I talked with the dealer I bought my truck from and heard that the problem should still lies in the cluster not BCM suggesting me to ask warranty for the eBay guy, but I don't think I can get warranty on that matter.

So, confused, where should I go?
Is there anyone who succeeded in fixing these issues by either BCM reprogramming or replacing the whole cluster or something in GM dealership or anywhere else?

I was so frustrated today to hear the repair guy nearby say he couldn't reprogram the BCM suggesting it would be better to go to GM dealership.

I definitely appreciate all the answers in advance.
Thanks.

I had used vehicles come in that someone had desoldered and removed the led for the ses light and abs light.

The dealership can do a bulb check; commanding all the cluster lights on with the scan tool. If the lights do not come on, you probably need a cluster.
reprogramming definitely won't fix it. However, the new cluster will need to be set up and programmed to the vehicle.

So, you mean I need to replace with a new cluster not do BCM reprogramming that not be expected to fix the issues.
I am just concerned the $$$$ in dealership.
