Got a 07 Classic 2500HD 4X4 crew cab 8’ bed Duramax. Looking to convert over to a dual wheel truck. Is the frame the same width on the 2500 vs the 3500? If so what changes in the rear other than the rear axle and springs with over loads? What changes are needed for the front? Realizing I need to match a replacement rear with my existing front gear ratio.

 

Gonna cost you in time and money. I'd just find a nice dually and sell your unit. You are looking at some real hard change here and it not like downtime is free.
