Default Cooler?

Can someone please verify what this part is? Looks like a transmission cooler to me, but the guy I bought it from said it didn't have one. It's mounted on the front of the radiator.

The truck is a 2006 Silverado 1500 5.3.

I'm new to this. My first truck and it's day 5 lol. So if they go back to the engine then maybe oil cooler? Transmission then a tranny cooler? If into the radiator then just part of regular cooling?

Appears that one line goes back into the radiator and one goes to the bottom back of the engine block on the passenger side.

It is indeed an auxiliary transmission cooler. By chance my wife's husband who is a mechanic stopped over with my wife's friend and confirmed it for me. Probably the only time he's ever been to our house and it was perfect timing 😂
