Driver heated seat not working

I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 1500 Z71, crew cab. Is there a way to tell which (upper or lower) heater is burned out without tearing the seat apart?

i know on my 04 imp, one could burn out and the other function properly. i would check to make sure youre still getting power
