Exclamation Galley

I have a 2001 Silverado 2500 HD, I cannot get there 4x4 to work. No lights on the selectors switch, 4WD Needs Service is lite on dash and nothing happens when selector switch is used. I have checked all fuses, cleaned ground contact on frame under driver's side replaced selector switch and took a wild guess and replaced TCCM. Nothing so far has made any difference. I don't want to make any more wild guesses, any help will would be appreciated. Thanks Galley

You have a shift between the gearshift lever and the selector. Put yourself in P, and move the lever until it lights up.

I have electronic 4 WD and see no level that you mention. I have 4WD selector buttons on the left side of my dash, and the lights on that cluster are not on to indicate what I am in, 2 HI, 4 Hi, etc.

Have you checked all the fuses for the 4WD? There’s more than 1 fuse block - refer to the fuses section in your owners manual.

Don’t just look at them - use a test light or meter at the test points on the fuse with the key on to verify they’re good.
