Default Ground strap engine to body

Have a 00 Silv 1500 5.3L and the ground strap bolt somehow backed out and left strap hanging from firewall. Anyone know the size of that bolt? And upon perusing the web ( in several videos) it appears they are two wires attached to this point on the back of the head…the braided strap from the firewall and another ground wire coming from the passenger side behind the engine over to this point. My engine will start and run like a champ OR for no rhyme or reason will not start on the next time or may start normally days (numerous times) and then just crank and crank as if no spark?!. I drive it somewhere no problems and when go to start it, it might start fine, OR AS OF RECENT, it will just crank and and not fire. If I pull the MAF and spray starter fluid in intake it will fire up but seems to be getting more stubborn…I think it is this grounding issue and want to make sure I have all proper ground wires attached to the head. Any thoughts or experience with this…I’m really thinking it has to do with this ground. 🤔 Any experience or knowledge to share would be greatly appreciated

The bolt size is likely the same as the two bolts shown coming out of the firewall area in the top picture. Just find a place on the block or a head and reconnect it.

I am not sure if the intermittent no-start is related.

Good Luck!

Negative, told it was M10x1.5 1/2-3/4 long, I’m mostly worried is if I should reroute the other ground on passenger side bottom on engine over to the firewall as well
