So I've done plenty of hub assemblies in my jeeps and some other smaller vehicles but never in one of my trucks before. Its a 2005 2500hd 2wd. Every bit of information I can find tells me to take the hub loose on the inside I need an otc7217. Thats a 2 3/8" 4 prong socket. Every parts store and Google search tells me thats the only size I could possibly need. My tape measure tells me I need a 3 3/8" 4 prong locknut socket. Unfortunately that tool apparently does not exist. Any help as to where to obtain this or how to make my hub shrink an inch so the "correct" tool fits would be much appreciated guys!
