Default Help with identification of part.

I just bought this 2001 Silverado 3500 6.0l and this part appears to be damaged.

I'm trying to find the part name so I can order a replacement also any help on the proper process would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.

It is located on the top side of the fuel tank at the opposite side as the fuel pump. There is a tube the runs it up to the evap system located on the front of the tank.

All parts available on rockauto.com

the fitting is part of fuel tank

vent line is part of emissions/evap vent system

Smelling gas is a concern for fire hazard - fix it before using the vehicle!
