Help! Rear end/ differential noise

My wife noticed a clunking noise while she was driving the truck. The next morning, I began driving to see what she was talking about. The noise would happen when traveling over 30 mph. I drove the truck back home (less than 2 miles). Once I reached my driveway, the truck stopped moving forward (in drive) and would just make the noise. Was able put the truck in reverse without the noise and slowly backed out and parked.
