Angry mystery dying

Got an 01 K2500 with a 6.0L, run the truck at idle in the driveway for about 25 to 30 minutes, the truck dies and won't restart. Let it set for 25 to 45 minutes and it restarts and runs fine.
thought it might be the ECM, got a remanufactured one from flagship1. Plug n play loaded with all required files based on my VIN. Enstalled it completed the passlock relearn procedure,
vehicle started and ran fine for two days. died again today (04-01-2020). Waited for a tow truck for 45 minutes just before he arrived the truck started and ran fine.
After it dies and won't start the fuel pump does come on when the key is turned to the on position. Any one having this issue, or any ideas where to start

Sounds like something electronic is getting hot and failing, then happy again once cooled down. Any codes/CEL?

+1 to check codes and fuel pressure.
test when the fault is active.
-check for rpm signal with a scan tool
-check for spark
-check fuel pressure
