Default Need help choosing rear end gears

HI everyone I have a 2003 1500 4.3 5spd 4wd single cab long box 100,000 miles runs greats. I chose the 4.3 because I drive an hour to and from work 6 days a week. But I live in the country and more than half of my driving is on hilly windy roads and my truck has all it can do to make it up a hill even on the highway I seem to never get out of 4th gear unless we're going downhill. It does have 295/70/r15s on it which I'd like to keep that size. I want to change the rear end gear ratio can anyone suggest a good ratio for my engine/trans combo. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated

In your glovebox you'll be able to read the axle code. I believe GT4 is 3.73, GU6 is 3.42, GU5 is 3.23, GU4 is 3.08. I'd probably go 4.10s with that tire size and the hills. I have 4.88s in my 01 5.3 with 37s and it's awesome.
