I very recently acquired a 2002 Silverado LT 5.3 4x4. It was my uncle's old work truck and he really abused the poor thing, but I'm going to be doing a complete make over, not only cosmetically, but in new parts and upgrades. Just wanted to say hi and show appreciation for the fact that I finally found a generation specific forum. I can't imagine why someone would think it's a good idea to have 1999 questions/issues along side a 2019 question/issue. Anyway, I expect I'll be here frequently, hoping to learn a lot and help out others as well. My last project was a 2004 Grand Cherokee, which I similarly brought back to life, but I've been wanting a proper truck for awhile.
