Cool No crank

2000 Sliverado 1500 Z-71
# 1 Having trouble with cranking it's got 142,000 and it's a 2000 model it takes about three turns of the key before it cranks. The fuel pump was replaced over ten years ago and fuel filter was changed about two months ago so what could it be ? # 2 Replaced blend door on passenger and now only getting air where before was only getting hot heat now no cold or heat any help that could fix these problems would be a big help. Thanks

Welcome from Florida. Sounds like the check valve in the fuel pump assembly is bad. Over ten years for a fuel pump is a long time. I would change the fuel pump or add a check valve in the fuel line. But at over ten years, I think I would just change the pump.
