I tore my engine down to have my heads serviced and replace my timing set. I finally got that project all put back together. But now I get nothing when I turn the key. The instrument panel doesn't always come on when I turn on the key, and it doesn't go off after I turn off the ignition and remove the key. I have checked my grounds on the heads and starter.

I'm at a loss, and beyond my mechanic know how. Please help
