Hello everyone, I have a 2004 2500HD 6.6 Turbo Diesel Allison 5spd. I was wondering how I proceed here. Nice rock took a 1/2' chunk out of the mating area between the engine and transmission. I'm either gonna do MAPP gas and aluminum filler rod, or I'm gonna get a welder out here. Will someone with knowledge of diesels tell a man how I fix my truck? Any comments, suggestions, anything let me know!


also if i were to braze it can anyone speak on if this will set it on fire? Dont have the equipment to pull the engine was hoping it was on the tranny side. (I know it needs to be degreased and brushed down)
