I have a 2002 sliverado does the fresh air/ recirculate door always go back to fresh air everytime u cut the truck off and back on if the a/c is off? Everytime I drive my truck air is coming through vents unless I press the recirculate button even with a/c and heat off has new fresh air/recirculate actuator started clicking few weeks ago but did not change air coming through vents while driving with no a/c or heat going. Thanks for any answers or advice

 

You likely have a bad right-hand actuator go bad.

 

You also could check with someone that does contamination remediation work. They might be able to do it without tearing the duct work out.
