Quick question about front and rear gear oil.

Default Quick question about front and rear gear oil.
Im new to this forum so thanks for having me. The manual for my 2003 4.3L silverado 1500 calls for 80w in front and 75w (synthetic) in rear. My question is can I use the 80w in both front and rear?

The rear axle gets more stress . I presume that's why it's bigger and needs better fluid.
