Default removing body from frame

I have the typical frame rust problems that seem to be normal for the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 4x4 trucks. I've been wondering
what would be involved in removing the body from the frame? This is a standard cab, 8' bed. With the price of new trucks these days, seems like it would be worth rebuilding this truck. It only has 55,000 original miles on it. 4.8 liter, automatic.
I would think that when built at the factory they would have dropped much of the body as an assembly then hooked up what was needed??
Thanks John

if you have done it before its probably a 30 hour job if you have a hoist. 60 hours is you have never done one. without a hoist easily double and triple that time.
