I've got a 99 c1500, 5.7 motor. Scanner reads bank 1 lean, spark plugs are all black and sooty on the left bank of cylinders. Right bank is tan ,seems fine. What are your thoughts?

 

First what are all the OBDII codes that are retrieved when you connect a code reader/scanner to the OBDII port?

The plugs are indicating that the engine is running rich. Is your check engine light on? Is the check engine light flashing?
