Service brakes soon
The light comes on in the dash, the tone beeps, but my brakes are working fine. If I unplug the proportioning valve it stops. Do I replace the proportioning valve, or is there another more likely cause?

Could be a bad sensor. The brake service light comes on when it detects something out of place in the brake system.
