Default Starting Issues

Hello, am wondering if anyone else has the following issue; My truck is a 2002 Silverado with 6.0 engine, when first starting, in the morning, it will crank over no problem, but will not fire. When I turn the key off and retry, it starts no problem and for the rest of the day it starts fine. It then repeats all over again the next morning. Any thoughts

It sounds like the check valve in the fuel pump assembly is bad. Spray some gas or starting fluid into the throttle body and if it starts right away, then it is the check valve.
