I put a rough country 2 inch lift/leveling kit on my 99 Silverado. Is that a big enough lift that I should get aftermarket upper control arms or will new ball joints alone be ok?

 

You might need longer shocks. I recently talked to someone that had a leveling kit and they had to get different shocks.

I put that same kit on my 2000 1500 a few years back, stock control arms are working fine. Had it aligned after i installed it and its been perfect ever since. Goes down the highway nice.Its a tad stiffer but i can"t tell the difference
