Throttle body acuator code
2004 Chevy Silverado, 1500, 5.3L
I started getting a " lost communication with throttle actuator" U0107
Via recommendations and research, I have -replaced the throttle body(with actuator), -replaced the neg battery cable, -replaced the battery.
Each fix lasted about a day...or 2,, then the problem returns. However, it no longer happens every mile or 2, it only occurs when starting from a cold engine. One started and the engine warm...no trouble codes.
Let the engine come to 'room' temperature the code returns.
Now, this I am ignorant about. When the engine goes to a limp idle and I get the message "reduced engine power', I run my computer, get the trouble code, then I clear the codes, and as soon as it clears, the engine runs normally...until the next cold start. I don't understand how clearing the codes 'fixes' the problem. The problem is either there or it is not.
Someone, please clear the codes in my brain...and maybe tell me why my truck hates me.
