Default Transfer case stuck in neutral

I put my truck into 4 low while in park on accident and then it went into the neutral with the red light. I now can’t get into 2 high, 4 high, 4 low, or auto. I’m stuck and can’t get home now. My fuses are good and there was a new motor put into the case just a few months ago. Any suggestions? Grinds when I go into park also

Can try to pull the TREC or ATCM fuse ( witch ever one your truck has) in the under hood fuse block for 30 seconds. This is the only thing that pops in my head right now, I blame insufficient coffee.

I tried pulling both and left battery unplugged overnight and I still can’t get the buttons to get out of nuetral. They just blink and then show the red again. Should I pull the motor off?

Default Did you ever find the problem?

I am going through the same problem with my 2004 chevy 2500 hd. Stuck in neutral also I have no way to read the codes, but it is throwing a service 4wd code.

It was the transfer case shift motor. Previous owner had put a cheap new one in so I thought it was not the issue but when I pulled it out it wasn’t working just making noise. I bought a new one and put it in and it worked great
