Default Truck running off battery

I have a 2001 chevy silverado 1500
Battery keeps going dead well driving it, can't use lights, radio or heat, the system glitches. I have changed the alternator, battery and rewired the wiring that goes to the alternator.

i noticed these problems started when my 4x4 started to stick in 4x4. The wire coming off my alternator to the battery melted my boost box after battery was hooked up.

Could the ECM be causing this problem or is it something else.

I'd have run a scan tool on your Chevy. Check battery and alternator. Some of the parts they are selling are junk from Asia.
