Truck wants to long crank after turned off for a few hours.
Hello, I have a 2005 4.3 V6 Silverado that doesn’t want to fire up immediately every time I try to start it. She starts up perfectly early in the morning, and perfectly within an hour after being shut off. But when I let her sit for 2-4 hours, she wants to crank for about 5 seconds. I figured the spider injection system was leaking and it was but after I replaced it, it didn’t resolve the issue. My fuel PSI doesn’t bleed down or anything. Spark plugs and wires are new. New coil pack. The distributor cap looked good. I can’t seem to get my head around it. If anyone is willing to shoot some ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
