2006 crew cab 4 door. Carpet is soaked driver side back of rear door area. Anyone know what they call the upper seal? Looks like it has shrunk compared to the passenger side and needs to be replaced. It only goes halfway down the cab and goes halfway down on the front of the cab. Can’t find the actual seal on the web.
Might consider taking a look at your Vent Solenoids also while you're running down the leaks.
I know that drove me nuts trying to find the cause that developed on mine.
My Part replacement number was... Panel-Vent Valve 13596856
Chances are, the ones for your truck will be the same.
Good luck:>)
its a dealer only part so bring you vin to the dealer and they can pull up a pic of the weather strip you need.
you should remove some trim panels and look for leaks from the inside while someone hoses the out side with a garden hose (don't use a pressure washer). leaks in the general area you are referring can also come from a sunroof drain or high mount stop lamp.
