I've got a 2006 Silverado 1500HD, and it has had a parasitic draw for a while.
I think I've tracked down the issue, but I'm having trouble understanding what things are what under the driterms console.

First this harness connector has 3 disconnected wires, but I don't have any errors. It almost has to be the brake pedal position sensor, but is labeled PED 8, and i cant find that anywhere online??



And secondly...what is this little button? It's spooled up and ziptied up under the steering wheel, but it has a sticky back likr its supposed to be attached to the dash somewhere. It terminates behind the instrument panel somewhere.
