Default 07 1500 blower motor wiring

So I bought a 07 gmc 1500 the blower would not work. I noticed I had no power to the blower or resister. Turns out someone ran a wire from the black or brown wire on the blower switch to a fuse in the box. Can I get a wire diagram to fix it right?

Does it have automatic or manual AC control? They’re basically the same set up but use different cavities in the connectors - I can get the correct diagram for you tomorrow.

Ok, this should be what you need - one thing to note - the wires that run off the right side of the diagram (circled in red) to the 2nd page only run to the junction block at the right end of the dash (can be seen by removing the end cover).

The wires that supply power and control to the blower resistor (labeled as control module) circle back to page 1. If you really think you’ll need page 2 or 3 I can post it, but for now, here’s the connections starting at the resistor:

Power supply - Red wire - #9 connects to #13 - Red/Black wire back to fuse box
Speed control - Purple/White wire - #10 connects to #15 - Gray/Black wire back to control panel

wouldn't that be the "blower motor control module" at the top of the diagram?

I think that's the resistor as the blower motor plugs into that but you may be right let me poke around on the Google

That’s on the left side of the diagram - the box with “HVAC Control Module” underneath it.
