My 07 Silverado, new body style, blower started to act up , not working on all speeds,staying on all the time, not switching off speed setting, and now has stopped completely.
I’ve replaced the blower circuit breaker, and the blower resistor. All other fuses are good. Nothing I’ve done has fixed the problem.
any suggestions?..

Welcome from Florida. Have you checked to see if the blower motor itself is good?

 

that is my next step, I thought before i started pulling parts, I'd ask if i possibly missed somthing...I do believe in the KISS theory

Thanks for the advise, I went ahead and pulled the blower motor out and noticed the fan was not spinning freely, there was some drag on it. So I spun the fan a few times and tried to get a drop of oil to the bearing shaft. plugged it back in turned on the switch... nothing...... gave her a spin and she took off in high speed. Now working in all 5 speeds and blowing cool air. Think I'll buy a fan assembly just to have on hand.......

 

I have a 07 silverado and i blows hot air from the driver side and cold air from the passenger side. Control flap actuators work. Any body have an idea what the issue is
