08 Silverado driver door wire harness
08 Silverado extended cab 4.8. Power door locks and windows. The passenger window quit working and after trial and error found at least one wire in the door wiring harness broken. I would like to change the entire harness since it's not that expensive and not easy to get into and splice the wires. I suspect more than one wire could be broken.
Unplugging and removing from door side looks fairly simple on a few videos I watched but none show the other end that connects at the dash. I took the side panel off the dash and can see where it probably plugs in. My question is how hard is it to pull the old harness out and put the new one back in at the dash side. Might have to also remove floor kick panel on the lower side.
Is it difficult to fish the wires out of and back into the dash side? No video I looked at shows that step.
Thanks

If you’re still needing an answer….
The door harness is easiest to remove/install from the door side. Remove the kick panel, the door panel, and the speaker (if equipped). Pull the rubber boot off/out of the door/cab. Once you have all the connections removed, pull the harness out from the door side (some wiggling/rotating of the plug will be necessary).
