I started having this pro lem about a week ago. The security lock light stays on o. My instrument panel i replaced the ignition lock & key. Did the reset it never took. I believe there is an aftermarket remote start kit installed because it plugs directly into my OBD PORT and i do t think the factory alarm would tie up my OBD PORT. There is a switch on the box co nected to the OBD PORT that says 12v and key. Im not sure if this is somehow a bypass for the passlock system or not. I really would just prefer to not ahave to worry about my vehicle leaving me stranded. Can anybody help me with ..this problem? Thank you i appre iate any input
