Default 2008 Chevy Silverado door jam

The drivers side door is making this loud creak sound when opened and closed. Sometimes it makes a loud pop sound when I close it like it's going to break off???
It's giving me anxiety and overall annoying. I don't really want to take it to a mechanic to have them look at it, if it's something I can just take care of myself. I tried googling it and all does is take me down a rabbit hole of useless information.
I was just wondering if anybody else has had this issue and how they corrected it? I don't want to spray a lubricant on it if that's going to cause it to rust and randomly actually fall off one day after I open the door in a parking lot somewhere. (me overthinking) Then I'll be stuck trying to pick a door up off the ground and fitting it into the bed of my truck by myself. (overthinking continues)

I think this is what's causing the noise
Soooo... before I sit here stressing myself out and escalate my overthinking with this door situation, I decided to turn to this forum instead.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

You can try applying some white lithium grease to the hinges and the roller bearing in your picture. Whether or not it helps will depend on the condition of the bearing.

White lithium grease is available as an aerosol at most parts stores. Spray it on all the moving parts and work the door back and forth several times to work the grease into the hinges and roller.

There are kits available to repair the hinge pins but I don’t know about that roller and spring.
