Default Aux input device problem with radio

Advice???

I have a 2013 Silverado and it's doing the same thing too! Getting really frustrated with the radio keeps switching to Aux Input Device and I'm not even using it! I touch the band button and radio comes back. If I'm listening to XM or CD or Radio doesn't make a difference It will bump off multiple times during a song. Seems to be a problem with other peoples radios as well from what I'm seeing on this forum

Same problem with my 2010.
After using the aux input jack (bottom right) with an ipod the jack is making intermittent contact now with no plug in it. A good smack on the radio makes it work for a while. I'll be trying some electronic cleaner and exercising the jack a few times today. Unsure if you can get to the jack with the radio removed. Anyone tried this?

Same issue with the radio in 2010 Malibu. Aux Input Device flashes on and off constantly - impossible to listen to radio or CD or anything. Has anyone found anything that fixes this?

Same problem. I used a audio cable and plugged it into the aux port. It's not attached to anything but aux port. No problems anymore.

Thanks a bunch! I plugged old headphone cable in and out of aux port several times before it totally cleared up. I'm now able to listen to my radio/CD without any problems. For good measure I used some canned air on it.

My radio switches to "Aux Input Device" for no apparent reason. Some times it will switch back to the radio on its own, but most of the time I have to do it manually. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Default Display

My issue is different. When I turn the truck on the radio and display will come on. Eventually the display will turn off and the radio will continue to work. Sometimes the display will turn back on. It’s a bit annoying.
