2013 5.3 Lt Afm lifter just replaced. And with in 10min that new lifter collapsed. I cant afford to have it fixed at shop.. asking 3000 grand. Or more.. just need good advice on what all to check for so new lifter doesn't fail again. ?

Welcome from Florida. Who replaced the lifter? Were quality parts used? If a shop did it and it failed within 10 minutes, it should be under warranty and they need to repair it again! There may be a problem with the oil supply to the lifter.

I replaced the lifter, put a new vlom in and put all new lifters, and upgraded a few other non related items. I cant afford to send to shop. So i need to try and figure out on my own. If possible. Just looking for any advice

1. Was it the same lifter that collapsed in the first place if so did you check the lobes on the cam

Yea it was same lifter. I did look at cam but just from top view. At this point i bought a new truck and that ones still in my garage. ill replace cam and do a delete. Any advice on that? Better idea or worse? Thanks
