4.3 oil leak

4.3 oil leak

Does this look normal to anybody? Looks like something broke off or maybe the wrong transmission?

Welcome from Florida. It might be a leak with the oil filter. Try a new one and make sure there is not an old seal stuck on the engine from an old filter.
