Hi all. Looking for some advice. Looking to get a Chevy Silverado or GMC Sierra soon. Looking at specifically a 2008 GMC Sierra with the 5.3. I keep hearing about the AFM issues could cause you to need a new engine. Taking the truck to a mechanic first but the truck has 119000 miles on it. Is there a way to tell if this is going to happen if it's not an issue right now? From what I've researched doesn't seem to be a common problem. Appreciate any and all advice. Thank you!
