Default battery issues

Hello, I have a 2009 silverado that has a battery issue, the issue is that after sitting for a day or two it drains the battery. since i purchased it, it has had 3 batteries put in it. they last about a year, then act up. our local chevy dealer has been trying to find the source of the drain but cannot. has anyone on here had a similar issue or does anyone have any ideas of what to look for? any ideas would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Yes, the question comes up a lot, and the causes are various. It needs to be troubleshooted hands-on. Solving this over the internet is next to impossible.

Do you have any after-market stuff hooked up or plugged in? Stereos, phone chargers, alarm systems etc.

The most commonly overlooked accessory is a GPS, I.e. Garmin. Even turned off, if it’s left plugged in, will still draw and can drain a battery overnight.
