Default BCM Issues

Recently my power windows began working only intermittently on my 2007.5 Silverado. At first I thought it was a grounding problem and started chasing and cleaning grounds to no avail. In short order the starter began to only work intermittently as well, and soon after it stopped working altogether. After verifying that the starter excite wire wasn't being energized I verified that the ignition switch was functional, and it seems like a dead BCM is the likely culprit.

I'm having trouble getting a straight answer about where the BCM is located. I haven't been able to find any diagrams or pictures of the BCM. Everything seems to suggest it's up under the dash on the driver's side, but I've pulled apart the lower dash and I don't see anything resembling a module up under there.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Bonus points for photos or diagrams.

Thanks!
