First post on this forum. Recently bought an 08 Silverado 5.3L, looking to put larger wheels and tires on it and had some questions. If I put larger wheels than the stock 17in ones that are on it, will it mess anything up with my drivetrain? I was thinking about putting 18s on it or even 20s on it. The wheels would be 31 or 33 in. I know I’ll have to probably put a leveling kit on it or even lift kit to avoid rubbing. Might even have to do some trimming. But does anyone know if I’ll run into any mechanical issues with like torque or power due to running a larger tire? I know everyone seems to put on larger wheels and tires but just seeing what issues I may run into.
