Okay. I am new to this forum and not exactly a mechanic. Here is my issue. Both low beam headlamps went out at the same time. Checked the fusebox under the hood, and everything looked okay. Could the problem be the headlight relay? Also, almost immediately after this problem started, the battery started to drag when starting the vehicle. I had the battery tested at a local auto parts store and they said the battery was going bad. Alternator is OK. Looking for a cheap solution. Need help quick.

 

for specific info you need to include your model year and engine size
start with checking for battery voltage at both low beam bulb connectors. if no power check the fuses. each headlight should have separate fuse protection.
