Cilmate Control module keeps going out
2005 Silverado 1500 ext Cab LS - Dual Zone climate control (not digital).
The Climate Control Module keeps going out. Have replaced at least 5 times over the last 2 years (note due to age after-market parts are only new parts available). Adding a new module will work anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. But when it goes out, the AC, re-circ and defrost buttons do not work (no lights either), but the blower continues to work.
There is a gremlin somewhere, but my mechanic and I have yet to find it.
Has anyone else experienced this or have ideas?
