Default Clicking/Snapping

I recently just purchased an 08 Silverado 1500. I'm getting a snapping sound from what sounds like my drive shaft. It happens every time I put it in drive or reverse. I have even started to hear it going down the road when I let off and get back on the gas. It almost sounds like an electrical arc snap. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Check the universal joints though they usually clunk from my experience. After that maybe the pinion bearings? But the differential will have to be opened up to check those.

I swapped out universals and the snap was still there. I found another Thread that lead me in the direction of the drive shaft. I took the chance and bought a new drive shaft that came with the slip yolk. My snap is now gone!!!! I'm not sure if it was the drive shaft itself or the slip yolk but the for the price difference i just bought the both as a pair.
