Default disable RAP 07 silveradio

does anyone know how to disable the rap system. I HATE that the radio stays on after the key is turned off.

Welcome from Florida. It only stays on for sevreral minutes or until the drivers door is opened. So the easy way is to open the door. I really like it working this way.

I know that's how it works but I'm looking for a way to have everything turn off with the key. I cant understand why you would want the radio to stay on after u turn the car off

Thanks for that awesome suggestion of turning the radio off. Why didn't I think of that? I can definitely figure it out with a wiring diagram. I just thought maybe someone might have done it before.

I'm definitely not hurt about your answer. Just a little sarcasm. 😁 The relay is soldered to the tbcm. I'm thinking the easiest way it to just find a wire that's switched with the ignition and use that to power the radio. I'm changing the radio anyway. I thought maybe someone had the same idea and figured I would ask.
