I have a few questions about some exhaust work I can do to my truck. Its a 2010 5.3 with a muffler delete already.
so my exhaust is a 3 inch all the way but if I put a 4 inch adapter somewhere near the axle and have a 4 inch "axle back" and a 5 inch tip or even no tip would it be louder or at least deeper?

and the other day I saw a 07 to 14 gen suburban 1500 (so a 4.8 or a 5.3) and it had one of those single in duel out rolled tips and he was immensely louder than me, so would a split tip like that make my truck louder? Also I haven't messed with the emissions at all but I might get the 3rd cat cut if I can't find any other advice here on how to make my truck a bit louder. My bad if I posted this wrong I searched for exhaust threads in the bar and it didn't get me anywhere
