I have a 2008 5.3, want a single sided exhaust. Have narrowed down to Gibson, MBRP and Flowmaster. Pros and cons of each. I do not want anything loud, but if I put my foot into it, I would like to hear an aftermarket exhaust.

I've heard mbrp and Gibson are pretty good, I've never been a fan of flowmaster. Any one you get though you won't like it on the highway. The in and out of v4 mode kills it

 

to be honest, i bought a four foot section of three inch pipe from fisher auto, a new 3 inch tail pipe and it sounds amazing. it cost me about $50.00 i had a cherry bomb extreme muffler and i didn't like it, had a thrush welded didn't like it had duals didn't like it and now i have OEM style exhaust just bigger and it sounds great.
