Default 07 Tahoe: Aftermarket Exhaust Opinions

Hey everyone,
I am looking into getting an exhaust system for the Tahoe and was wondering if anyone has a system installed, if so, what kind and do you like it, cabin noise?

I've been on all the websites trying to listen to the exhaust systems, Magnaflow, Gibson, etc.

I think I may be leaning toward the Gibson, Dual Sport (2 tips coming out of one side) system.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.
Jay

I don't have one on my '07 but I had the Corsa with the dual tip out one side on my '01 Tahoe. Sounded great but really too much noise I feel for the '07.
I cut the resinator off the '07 and ran another pipe out to the side with a stainless tip. Noticed a little more noise but nothing like the cat back of Corsa's. Looks good.
That's all I am going to do.

Don't buy the cat back system. Go ahead and get the magnaflow muffler and tip but get it custom done. The system costs about 600 plus labor. I priced one with just muffler and tip, custom install and it came out to be $360.

Nope, I heard that it is too expensive and not as good as the others. Plus they will probablycharge you about 300 for labor.

Flowmaster and Gibson catback systems are like $300 shipped (non-stainless)

How are custom jobs that much cheaper?

I ran into a guy at Home Depot 2 weeks ago who had the GM exhaust. It looked real good and sounded nice. I can't remember which one he said he got but didn't opt for the louder of the two. Said it adds a nice rumble and is not noticeable in the truck unless he really gets on it. I really liked the single tip...believe it had either the GM logo or CHEVY on it...

vyslouzil, Where did you find the cat back system for 300. Everything I found is about 500-600.. The custom job costs cheaper b/c they don't use the same type of tubing, which you don't see anyway. They do use the muffler and the tip.
